Wang Hailin, born in 1988 in Ningbo, China, is a highly acclaimed landscape painter.

Her works combine Chinese landscape painting with European traditions. She studied at the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute (2007-2011) and the State Academy of Fine Arts Karlsruhe (2012-2017), completing her master's under Marijke van Warmerdam (2017-2018).

Her style is influenced by Tang Dynasty painting, emphasizing mood and atmosphere over realism. The traditional 'blue-green style' is evident in her work through prominent tones of blue, green, and yellow.

Since 2015, she experiments with mixing oil and acrylic paints, creating effects reminiscent of Chinese ink paintings through color flow. Details emerge through controlled contrast and color arrangement.

Her works transform memories into images with unique color and light effects. Drawing inspiration from everyday scenes like light spots, forests, and houses, she creates surreal compositions that blur reality and imagination.
